Bauer is a calm and contemplating dog and he is very eager to please at work, be it tracking or retrieving
He is a strong, tall, athletic, large headed big boned dog with an excellent temperament who is friends with everyone who meets him.
He has an endless supply of energy and enthusiasm but is not 'loopy' he has focus and sees his tasks through to the end be it working the field or lazing in the sun which he excels at.
At 18 months of age he is already 25 inches tall at the shoulder.
